Covid 19 döneminde okul müdürlerinin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkileri

Abstract

Kasım 2019’da Çin’den dünyaya yayılan Covid 19 pandemisi her alanda etkili olduğu gibi eğitimi de etkilememiş ve aksamalara neden olmuştur. Araştırmamızda bu durum dağıtımcı liderlik davranışlarının öğretmen motivasyonuna etkisi olarak araştırılmıştır. Araştırma 2021- 2022 eğitim öğretim döneminde İstanbul ili Tuzla ilçesinde resmi okullarında görevli öğretmenlerin algısına göre gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlişkisel tarama modeli ile yapılan araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin dağıtımcı liderlik algılarının yüksek düzeyde gerçekleştiği, öğretmenlerin içsel motivasyonlarının fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin dağıtımcı liderlik ve motivasyonla ilişkin algıları demografik değişkenler açısından incelenmiş olup okul müdürlerinin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin motivasyonları arasında pozitif yönlü ve güçlü bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. In this context, school administrators are also the people who have a key position in the achievement of educational goals. The behavior of the school principal is a situation that plays a decisive role in the school goals. The Covid 19 pandemic, which spread from China to the world in November 2019, did not affect education as it was effective in every field and caused disruptions. In our research, this situation was investigated as the effect of distributed leadership behaviors on teacher motivation. The research was carried out according to the perception of teachers working in public schools in Tuzla district of Istanbul province in the 2021-2022 academic year. As a result of the research conducted with the relational scanning model, it was determined that the distributed leadership perceptions of the teachers were realized at a high level and the internal motivation of the teachers was high. Teachers' perceptions of distributed leadership and motivation were examined in terms of demographic variables, and it was determined that there was a positive and strong effect between school principals' distributed leadership behaviors and teachers' motivations. In the light of the results, suggestions were developed and recommendations were made to practitioners and researchers.
