dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Türkiye'de kadınların örgün eğitimde geçirdikleri yıl sayısının, boşanma riski üzerindeki etkisini analiz etmektedir. Analizde Hacettepe Üniversitesi Nüfus Etütleri Enstitüsü tarafından yapılan 2008 ve 2013 Türkiye Nüfus ve Sağlık Araştırması (TNSA) verilerinden yararlanılmış ve Cox Orantılı Tehlikeler Modeli (Cox Proportinal Hazard Model) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular Türkiye için kadınların örgün eğitimde geçirdikleri yıl sayısındaki artışın boşanma ihtimalini arttırdığı yönündedir.
dc.description.abstractThis manuscript studies the causal effect of women's schooling years on the risk of divorce. For the analysis of this causal effect, the data from the 2008 and 2013 Turkey Demographic and Health Survey and Cox Proportional Hazard Model is used. According to the results of this study, as the years of schooling of women increase in Turkey, the probability of divorce increases as well.
