İbn Sina metafiziğinde birlik tasavvuru: birleşik cevherler ve mahiyetler özelinde bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu yüksek lisans tezinde İbn Sînâ'nın bileşik cevherleri ve mahiyetleri, onun birlik tasavvuru sınırlarında nasıl ele aldığı araştırılmaktadır. İbn Sînâ açısından birlik, varlığın tesis edilmesi için gereklidir. Madde ve suretten bileşik cevher ile cins ve fasıldan bileşik mahiyetin nasıl birlik içerisinde var olduğu tezimize temel teşkil eden sorudur. Bunun için ilk bölümde İbn Sînâ açısından bir ve birlik kavramları, onun sistemli eserlerinin kronolojik sırası takip edilerek incelenmiş, çeşitleri sıralanmış varlık kavramı ile ilişkisi izah edilmiştir. Bunula beraber konu ile alakalı olarak Fârâbî, Kindî, Plotinus, Aristoteles, Platon ve Parmenides'e dair işaretlere de yer verilmiştir. İbn Sînâ'nın birlik tasavvurunun kendi eserleri içerisindeki ilerleyişi ve döünşümü, İbn Sînâ'dan önceki düşünce birikimi de dikkate alınarak irdelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde İbn Sîna'nın bileşik cevheri nasıl kurguladığı ve bileşik cevherin birliğini nasıl tesis ettiği birinci bölüme atıfla açıklığa kavuşturulmuştur. Yine birinci bölüme atıfla Fârâbî ve Aristoteles'in bileşik cevher kurgusu da İbn Sînâ'nın kurgusuyla karşılaştırılarak izah edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise mahiyet ile bileşenleri olan cins ve fasıl kavramları İbn Sînâ açısından incelenmiştir. Fârâbî ve Aristoteles'te bu kavramların ne ifade ettiği gösterilmiştir. Son olarak mahiyetin birliği birinci bölüme atıfla İbn Sînâ ön planda olmak üzere her üç filozof açısından değerlendirilerek çalışma sonlandırılmıştır.

In this master's thesis, it is examined how Ibn Sînâ's composite substances and natures are handled within the boundaries of his conception of unity. Acording to Avicenna, unity is necessary for the establishment of existence. The basis of our thesis is how the compound substance from matter and form and the compound nature from genus and specific difference exist in unity. For this reason, in the first chapter, the concepts of one and unity in terms of Ibn Sînâ are examined by following the chronological order of his systematic works, and their relationship with the concept of existence is explained. In addition to this, signs about Fârâbî, Kindî, Plotinus, Aristotle, Plato and Parmenides are also included in relation to the our subject. The progress and transformation of Avicenna's conception of unity in his own works has been examined by taking into account the accumulation of thought before Avicenna. In the second part, it is clarified with reference to the first part how Avicenna constructed the compound substance and how he established the unity of the compound substance. Again, referring to the first chapter, the compound substance construct of Fârâbî and Aristotle is also explained by comparing it with the construct of Avicenna. In the third chapter, the essence and the concepts of genus and specific difference, which are components of the essence, are examined in terms of Avicenna. What these concepts mean in Fârâbî and Aristotle has been shown. Finally, again with reference to the first chapter, the unity of the essence was evaluated in terms of all three philosophers, with Avicenna in the foreground thus the study was concluded.
