İbn Sina'nın doğa felsefesinde sonsuzluk

Abstract

Bu yu?ksek lisans tezinde, İbn Sînâ'nın sonsuz kavramını doğa felsefesi sınırları içerisinde nasıl ele aldığı araştırılmaktadır. Çalışmamızın iddiası, İbn Sînâ'nın geliştirdiği özgu?n sonsuzluk yaklaşımıyla kendisinden önce çözu?lemeyen problemleri çözmu?ş olmasıdır. Bunun için öncelikle ilk bölu?mde sonsuz kavramının İbn Sînâ öncesi dönemde geçirdiği önemli dönu?şu?mler ve bu dönu?şu?mler esnasında çözu?msu?z kalan problemler ele alınmaktadır. Daha sonra ikinci bölu?mu?n ilk kısmında, İbn Sînâ'nın sonsuz kavramına yaklaşımı ele alınmaktadır. İkinci kısmında ise İbn Sînâ'nın cismin bölu?nme ve ekleme bakımından sonsuzluğuna yaklaşımı araştırma konusu kılınmaktadır. Üçu?ncu? kısmında cismin en genel iki arazından biri olan hareketin bölu?nme ve ekleme bakımından sonsuzluğunun İbn Sînâ felsefesinde ele alınış biçimi araştırılmaktadır. İkinci bölu?mu?n son kısmında ise İbn Sînâ tarafından hareketin ölçu?su? olarak nitelenen zamanın bölu?nme ve ekleme bakımından sonsuzluğu araştırma konusu kılınmaktadır. Her u?ç kısımda da araştırılan kavramların bölu?nme bakımından sonsuzluğu ilgili kavramın mahiyetiyle doğrudan ilişkili olduğu için ilgili bölu?mlerde kavramların mahiyeti ve bölu?nme bakımından sonsuzluğu birlikte ele alınmakta ve çalışma böylece sonlandırılmaktadır.

This master's thesis examines how İbn S?n? treats infinity within the borders of natural philosophy. The main claim of our work is that İbn S?n? with his original infinity approach solved the problems that could not be solved before him. For this purpose, firstly, the important transformations of the concept of infinity in the pre-İbn S?n? period and the problems that remain unsolved during these transformations are discussed. Then, in the first part of the second chapter, İbn S?n?'s approach to the concept of infinity is discussed. In the second part, the approach of İbn S?n? to the infinity of the bodies in terms of division and addition is made the subject of research. In the third part, the infinity of the movement, one of the two most general accidents of the body, in terms of division and addition, is handled in the philosophy of İbn S?n?. In the last part of the second chapter, the eternity of time, which is described as the measure of movement by İbn S?n?, in terms of division and addition, is made the subject of research. Since the infinity of the concepts explored in all three parts in terms of division is directly related to the nature of the relevant concept, the concept and the infinity of the concepts in terms of division are handled together and the study is concluded.
