Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk şiirinde kurucu poetikalar

Abstract

Antik çağ düşünürlerinden Aristo'nun Poetika adlı kitabından bu yana, edebiyat ve felsefenin önemli kavramları arasında varlığını sürdüregelen poetika kavramı, modern edebiyat kuramlarının ısrarla üzerinde durduğu alanlardan biridir. Başka çeşitli anlamları da ihtiva etmekle birlikte, poetika bu tezde şairlerin kendi şiir anlayışlarını dile getirdikleri metinler anlamında kullanılmaktadır. "Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Şiirinde Kurucu Poetikalar" adlı bu doktora tezinde, modern Türk şiirinin önde gelen on beş farklı şairinin poetikası incelenmiş ve bu poetikalar arasındaki süreklilik ve kopuş ilişkileri üzerinde durulmuştur. Tezin "Saf Şiirin İlk Temsilcileri" başlığını taşıyan ilk bölümünde, Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk şiirinin kurucu isimleri arasında bulunan Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, Ahmet Haşim, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Asaf Halet Çelebi ve Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı'nın poetikaları incelenmiş ve bu şairlerin Fransız şiiri menşeli "Saf Şiir" anlayışının yörüngesinde yer aldığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. "Saf Şiir'den Çıkış" başlıklı ikinci bölümde Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, Orhan Veli ve Attilâ İlhan'ın poetikaları incelenmiş ve bu poetikaların Saf Şiir anlayışına karşı çıkış gerekçeleri tarihsel arka planları eşliğinde gösterilmiştir. Bu poetikaların Saf Şiir anlayışına karşı çıkarken kullandığı siyasal, sosyal ve kültürel sebepler üzerinde durulmuş ve kendilerinden sonraki kuşaklar üzerindeki çeşitli etkileri ortaya konmuştur. Tezin "İkinci Yeni Poetikaları" başlıklı üçüncü bölümünde Sezai Karakoç, İlhan Berk, Cemal Süreya ve Turgut Uyar'ın poetikaları incelenmiştir. Bu poetikalar, modern Türk şiirinde bir kırılmaya işaret eden İkinci Yeni şairleri tarafından üretilmiş olduğu için modernizm ve gelenekle ilişkileri çevresinde geniş bir tartışma yürütülmüştür. Tezin "İkinci Yeni'den Sonra" başlıklı son bölümünde ise İkinci Yeni'nin ortaya çıkışından sonra şiir anlayışını değiştiren Behçet Necatigil ile temelde Saf Şiir anlayışına yakın bir profil çizen Hilmi Yavuz ile İsmet Özel'in poetikaları üzerinde durulmuştur.

The concept of poetics, which has been among the important concepts of literature and philosophy since Aristotle's book called Poetics, one of the ancient thinkers, is one of the areas that modern literary theories insist on. Although it contains various other meanings, poetics is used in this thesis to mean the texts in which the poets express their own understanding of poetry. In this doctoral thesis named "Founding Poetics in Turkish Poetry of the Republic Period", the poetics of fifteen different leading poets of modern Turkish poetry will be examined and the continuity and rupture relations between these poetics have been emphasized. In the first part of the thesis, titled "The First Representatives of Pure Poetry", the poetics of Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, Ahmet Haşim, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Asaf Halet Çelebi and Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, who are among the founding names of Turkish poetry in the Republican era, were examined and these poets' "Pure Poetry" originating from French poetry. It has been tried to show that the concept of "poetry" is in its orbit. In the second chapter titled "Exit from Pure Poetry", the poetics of Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, Orhan Veli and Attilâ İlhan are examined and the reasons for the emergence of these poetics to the understanding of "Pure Poetry" are shown with their historical backgrounds. The political, social and cultural reasons that these poetics use to oppose the understanding of "Pure Poetry" have been elaborated at length and various effects or reflections on the next generations have been revealed. The poetics of Sezai Karakoç, İlhan Berk, Cemal Süreya and Turgut Uyar were examined in the third chapter of the thesis, titled "Second New Poetics". Since these poetics were produced by the Second New poets, who pointed out a break in modern Turkish poetry, a wide discussion was carried out around modernism and its relations with tradition. In the last part of the thesis titled "After the Second New", the poetics of Behçet Necatigil, who changed the understanding of poetry after the emergence of the Second New, and Hilmi Yavuz, who basically drew a profile depending on the understanding of Pure Poetry, and İsmet Özel were emphasized.
