Denizli-Tavas-Seki Köyü Türk dönemi mimari eserleri ve mezar taşları

Abstract

"Denizli- Tavas- Seki Köyü Türk Dönemi Mimari Eserleri ve Mezar Taşları", isimli bu çalışmada; köyün iç kısmında XIX – XX. yüzyıllar arasında inşa edilen ve tarihi değerini koruyan, han, köy odası, ev, çeşme, cami, köprü ve mezar taşları incelenmiştir. Bu yapılardan büyük bölümü, daha önce detaylı bir araştırmanın konusu olmamıştır. Yapıların çoğunluğu Cumhuriyet Döneminde ya yenilenmiş yada bilinçsizce koruma adına değişikliğe uğratılmıştır. Köydeki plan ve yapısal özelliklerini koruyabilen 10 adet yapı ile mezar taşlarının Türk Sanatı içindeki yeri incelenmiş, eserlerin ayrıntılı tanımı yapılarak plan ve fotoğraflarla desteklenmiştir. Değerlendirme bölümünde ele alınan eserlerin Türk sanatı içindeki yeri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde de araştırmalar sırasında elde edilen bulgular verilmiştir. Denizli- Tavas-Seki'deki Türk Dönemi Mimari Eserleri ve Mezar Taşları başlıklı bu tez, Batı Anadolu'nun küçük bir yerleşiminin tarihi kimliğini ve kısmen ekonomik yapısını ortaya koyan eserleri ele almaktadır. Buradaki yapılar Osmanlı taşra üslubunda, muhtemelen halk tarafından ustalara yaptırılmış eserlerdir. Bu yapılarda ahşap, taş, alçı ve kalem işi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Ele alınan yapılar içinde Eski Mescit'te döneminin süsleme sanatlarının özelliklerini yansıtan ve korunarak gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması gereken geometrik ve bitkisel süslemelere yer verilmiştir. Buradaki eserler aynı zamanda siyasi ve ekonomik buhranların yaşandığı bir dönemde Türk insanının sanat anlayışını, geleneklere bağlılıklarını gösteren önemli tarihi ve sanatsal vesikalardır.

This study, titled "Architectural Structures and Tombstones from the Turkish Period in Denizli-Tavas-Seki Village," examines the historical structures and tombstones in the village's interior, constructed between the XIX and XX centuries, including han (inn), village room, house, fountain, mosque, bridge, and tombstones that have retained their historical significance. Many of these structures have not been the subject of detailed research before. A significant portion of these buildings has undergone renovations during the Republic Period or has been modified without proper conservation awareness. The study investigates the place of 10 structures and tombstones within Turkish Art that have preserved their plan and structural features in the village, supported by detailed descriptions, plans, and photographs. The evaluation section aims to determine the place of the examined works within Turkish art. The results section presents the findings obtained during the research. This thesis, titled "Architectural Structures and Tombstones from the Turkish Period in Denizli-Tavas- Seki," focuses on the historical identity and partially the economic structure of a small settlement in Western Anatolia. The structures in this area are likely works commissioned to craftsmen by the local population in the Ottoman provincial style. Wood, stone, plaster, and penwork techniques are utilized in these structures. Among the examined buildings, the Old Mosque features geometric and botanical decorations reflecting the characteristics of the period's decorative arts, emphasizing the importance of preservation for future generations. These works also serve as significant historical and artistic documents demonstrating the Turkish people's artistic understanding and adherence to traditions during a period of political and economic turmoil.
