Kustâ b. Lûkâ ve Merrâkuşî'nin gök küre kullanım kılavuzlarının kıyaslamalı incelemesi

Abstract

Gökyu?zu?nu?n bir tu?r haritasını sunarak modellemesini yapan gök ku?re aleti, gökyu?zu?ndeki hareketlerin ve konumların bulunması işlevini göru?rken aynı zamanda eğitim amacıyla da kullanılmıştır. Birden fazla amaç için kullanılabiliyor olması onun İslam medeniyetindeki astronomlar tarafından u?zerine çalışılan ve geliştirilen astronomi aletlerinden biri olmasını sağlamıştır. İslam medeniyetinde IX. yu?zyıl sonlarında ?us?? b. L??? tarafından ve XIII. yu?zyılın ikinci yarısında Merr?kuş? tarafından telif edilen gök ku?re aleti kullanım kılavuzlarının karşılaştırılması, çalışmamızın ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda, gök ku?re aletinin tarihsel arka planı, ?us?? b. L???'nın ve Merr?kuş?'nin biyografileri ve eserleri incelenerek; mu?elliflerin gök ku?re aletinin kullanımına yönelik sundukları yöntemlerin ve alana sağladıkları katkıların anlaşılması, tezin odak noktasını teşkil etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, İslam medeniyetinde telif edilen iki kullanım kılavuzunun detaylı bir karşılaştırmasını yapmak ve ?us?? b. L??? ile Merr?kuş?'nin metinlerindeki farklılıkları belirterek gök ku?re aletinin çeşitli kullanım merhalelerini ve yöntemlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır.

The celestial globe, which is accepted as a model of the sky with its celestial map, while being used to find the cycle and locations in the sky, was also used as an educational tool. The fact that this instrument can be used for more than one purpose has made it one of the astronomical instruments studied and developed by astronomers in the Islamic civilization. The main subject of our study is the comparison of the celestial globe instrument user manuals, which were written in the Islamic civilization Qus?? ibn L?q? in the late ninth century and by Marr?kush? in the second half of the thirteenth century. Therefore, the focus of the thesis is on the methods and the contributions to the celestial globe's usages by examining Qus?? ibn L?q? and Marr?kush?'s biographies and their celestial globe's user manuals and the historical background of the instrument. The aim of this study is to make a detailed comparison of the two user manuals written in Islamic civilization and to reveal the various usage stages and methods of the celestial globe by stating the differences in the texts of Qus?? ibn L?q? and Marr?kush?.
