İbn Sînâcı delâlet nazariyesinin ortaya çıkışı ve eleştirisi

Abstract

İbn Sînâ'nın lafzın delâlet yollarını açıklarken mantık kitaplarında ilk kez ortaya koyduğu mutabakat, tazammun ve iltizam ayrımı çeşitli eserlerinde dile getirerek şekillendirdiği, beş tümel ve tanım ile ilgili bahislerde de kullandığı özgün bir teori olarak ortaya çıkar. İbn Sînâ'nın ardından Gazzâlî teorinin dakikleştirilmesi için bazı girişimlerde bulunur ve iltizam delâletinin ilimlerde/tanımlarda terkine yönelik eleştirinin ilk adımını atar. Onun teoriye dair yorumlarını farklı mantık eserlerinde ve fıkıh usulü gibi eserlerinin mantık bölümlerinde bulmak mümkündür. Son olarak Râzî, teoriyi detaylı bir incelemeye tâbî tutar, delâlet türlerini aklî ve vaz'î olarak sınıflandırır, iştirak problemine haysiyet kaydı çözümünü sunar, Gazzâlî'nin ortaya koyduğu iltizam eleştirisini ona belli noktalarda katılmakla beraber farklı katkılarla geliştirir. Böylece sonrakilere de onun eserleri vasıtasıyla aktarılarak tartışılmaya devam edilecek bir mesele bırakır.

The distinction between correspondence, containment, and implication, which Avicenna first introduced in his books of logic, explains the ways in which words signify. It emerges as an original theory that he shaped by expressing it in his various works and used in his discussions on the five universals and definition. Following Avicenna, al-Ghaz?l? makes some attempts at developing the theory and takes the first step in criticizing the neglection of the signification of implication in the sciences/definitions. His comments on the theory can be found in different works of logic and in the logic chapters of his works such as the usul al-fiqh. Finally, al-Rh?z? analyzes the theory in detail, classifies the types of signification as impositional (wad'iyya) and mental ('aqliyya), offers the solution of adding a condition (min ?aythu huwa juz?uhu/ l?zimuhu) to the treatment of equivocation, and develops al- Ghaz?l?'s critique of implication with different contributions while agreeing with him on certain points. Thus, he leaves an issue that will be transmittedto the later scholars through his works and will continue to be discussed.
