Klasik Türk edebiyatı dönemi manzum pendnâme tercümelerinin değerlendirilmesi ve tasnifi

Abstract

OOsmanlı dönemi klasik Türk edebiyatında Arapça ve Farsça kült eserlerin Türkçeye tercüme edilmesiyle çok geniş bir tercüme edebiyatı gelişmiştir. Tercüme eserler üzerinde yapılan çalışmalar, klasik edebiyatta hangi yöntemlerle tercüme eser üretildiği konusunda merak uyandırmış ve o dönemde üretilmiş tercüme eserlerin incelenmesi ihtiyacı doğmuştur. Tercüme yöntemlerinin tespiti ancak tercümelerin kaynak metinleriyle karşılaştırılmaları yoluyla mümkün olabilir. Bu çalışmada örneklem olarak Attâr'a atfedilen ahlâkî-didaktik bir nasihatname olan manzum Pendnâme ve bu eserin farklı yüzyıllarda yapılmış on bir manzum tercümesi seçilerek tercüme yöntemlerini belirleme amaçlı karşılaştırmalı incelemeye ve değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Dört bölümden oluşan çalışmada önce Attâr, Pendnâme ve Pendnâme'nin karşılaştırmaya esas olarak kullanılacak nüshası tanıtılmış, klasik Türk edebiyatı döneminde Pendnâme'ye yazılmış şerhlere ve tercümelere dair bilgi verilmiştir. Ardından tercüme kavramına ve Osmanlı'da tercümeyi etkileyen faktörlere değinilmiş, tercüme tasnifinin tarihsel seyrine göz atılmış, bu bağlamda modern çeviri kuramlarıyla aşina olunmuş ve bir tasnif önerisinde bulunulmuştur. On bir manzum Pendnâme tercümesi kaynak metinle belli başlıklar altında karşılaştırıldıktan sonra ulaşılan tüm bilgiler genel olarak değerlendirilerek çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlar araştırmacıların bilgisine sunulmuştur.

In the classical Turkish literature of the Ottoman period, a very wide literature of translations developed with the translation of Arabic and Persian cult works into Turkish. Studies on translated works have aroused curiosity about the methods used to produce translated works in classical literature, and the need to examine the translated works produced in that period has arisen. The determination of translation methods can only be possible by comparing the translations with their source texts. In this study, the verse Pendn?me, a moral-didactic advice book attributed to Att?r, and eleven verse translations of this work made in different centuries were selected as a sample and subjected to comparative examination and evaluation in order to determine translation methods. In the study consisting of four sections, first Att?r, Pendn?me and the copy of Pendn?me that will be used as the basis for comparison were introduced, and information was provided on the commentaries and translations written on Pendn?me during the classical Turkish literature period. Then, the concept of translation and the factors affecting translation in the Ottoman Empire were mentioned, the historical course of translation classification was reviewed, in this context, modern translation theories were familiarized and a classification proposal was made. After comparing eleven verse Pendn?me translations with the source text under certain headings, all the information obtained was evaluated in general and the results reached in the study were presented to the researchers.
