Henri Bergson düşüncesinde zaman, yaratma ve özgürlük

Abstract

Bu yüksek lisans tezinde, Henri Bergson'un zamanı yaratıcı süreç olarak belirlemesinin gerekçeleri araştırılmaktadır. Çalışmamızın temel iddiası, Bergson'un, yaratıcı bir süreç olarak somut yaşamı insan tecrübesinin nihai zemini olarak belirlediğidir. Bunun ortaya konulması için ilk bölümde Bergson'un zaman anlayışı ve insana atfettiği yetiler analiz edildi. Bergson'un zamanı yaratıcı bir süreç olarak kabul ettiği ve buna ilişkin bilginin zeminini sezgi olarak belirlediği tespit edildikten sonra ikinci bölümde Bergson'un bu bağlamdaki yaklaşımının tarihsel arka planı tartışıldı. Üçüncü bölümde Bergson'un zamansal sezgi anlayışı ve bunun Modern felsefedeki yeri saptanması ile birlikte, yaratma anlayışı çerçevesinde çözüm önerilen bazı sorunlara işaret edildi. Bergson yaratma anlayışı itibarıyla teleolojik ve mekanik doğa bilimlerine aslî bir zemin kazandırmaya çalışmaktadır. Bu suretle üçüncü bölümün ikinci kısmında Bergson'un hareket anlayışı ile mevcudiyet ve temsil anlayışı irdelendi. İlk üç bölümde Bergson düşüncesi itibarıyla insan tecrübesinin temel unsurları ortaya konduktan sonra, dördüncü bölümde Bergson'un özgürlüğü hangi zeminde müspet kabul ettiği detaylandırıldı. Sonuç bölümüyle birlikte yaratıcı bir süreç olarak somut hayatın nihai bir zemin olarak kabul edilmesi ekseninde Bergson felsefesinin nasıl yorumlanması gerektiği noktasında bazı hususlar ve öneriler ifade edildi

In this master's thesis, the reasons for Henri Bergson's determining time as creative process are investigated. The main claim of our work is that Bergson determines concrete life as a creative process as the original ground for human experience. In order to put forward this, in the first chapter, Bergson's understanding of time and the capabilities attributed to human were analyzed. After it was reavealed that Bergson considered time as a creative process and determined the basis of the knowledge related to it as intuition, in the second chapter, the historical background of Bergson's approach in this issue is discussed. In the third chapter, with Bergson's understanding of temporal intuition and determining its place in modern philosophy, some problems and Bergson's suggestions in the framework of his creation approach were pointed out. Bergson tries to provide a fundamental basis for teleological and mechanical natural sciences in terms of his conception of creation. Thus, in the third chapter, Bergson's understanding of movement and his conception of being and representation were examined. After introducing basic elements of human experience in terms of Bergson's thought in the first three chapters, the ground on which Bergson proved freedom was detailed in the fourth chapter. Along with the conclusion chapter, some issues and suggestions were expressed in respect of how Bergson's philosophy should be interpreted as from accepting concrete life in terms of creative process as original ground.
