Özel okullarda yürütülen AB eğitim projelerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusu özel okullarda yürütülen AB eğitim projelerinin ve Kovid-19 pandemisi sürecindeki dönüşümün değerlendirilmesidir. Literatür incelendiğinde özel okullara AB eğitim projelerinin katkısının incelenmesine yönelik birkaç çalışma olsa bile proje süreçlerinin tamamının yürütülmesine ilişkin bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla inceleyen bir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada, AB eğitim projelerinin Türkiye'deki özel okullarda yürütülmesi süreçlerinde hem kurum içi hem de kurum dışı karşılaşılan zorlukların hem de bu projelerin kurumsal ve bireysel katkılarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak bu çalışmada olgubilim (fenomenoloji) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu AB Projesi yürütme deneyimini yaşamış 12 özel okulu yöneticisi ve öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların belirlenmesinde amaçlı örnekleme ve maksimum çeşitlilik teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, veriler görüşme yoluyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin içerik analiziyle çözümlenmesi sonucunda ulaşılan bulgular kapsamında şu temalar elde edilmiştir: 1.AB eğitim projelerine başvuruda yaşanan sorunlar ve çözümleri, 2. AB eğitim projelerini yürütmede yaşanan sorunlar ve çözümleri, 3. AB eğitim projelerine katılımın bireysel ve kurumsal katkıları, 4. AB eğitim projelerinin raporlaştırılması, yaygınlaştırılması ve tanıtımı, 5. Kovid-19 pandemisinde AB eğitim projeleri. Bu bulguların ışığında; özel okullarda hem projelere başvuru hem de uygulama aşamasında kurum içi ve dışı önemli sorunları yaşandığı ve özel okulların bu sorunları çözümlerine yönelik bazı çözümler ürettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca AB eğitim projelerine katılım bireysel ve kurumsal açıdan önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Kovid-19 pandemisinde ve sonrasında AB eğitim projelerinin yürütülmesinde bazı dönüşümlerin olabileceği ve çevrimiçi tabanlı ve hibrit modellerin ön plana çıkabileceği de katılımcılarca öngörülmektedir.The subject of the study is to evaluate the EU education projects carried out in private schools and the transformation of them during the Covid-19 pandemic process. There is no study that examines the implementation of all project processes from a holistic perspective even if there are a few studies on the contribution of EU education projects to private schools in the literature. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate both internal-external difficulties and the individual-institutional contributions of the projects to the private schools in Turkey. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the phenomenology method is used. The study group consists 12 private school administrators and teachers who have participated in EU Project. Purposeful sampling and maximum diversity techniques are used in determining the participants. In addition, the data are collected through interviews. The following themes are reached as a result of analyzing the data with content analysis: 1. Problems during the process of application to EU education projects and the solutions, 2. Problems and solutions during the process of EU education projects execution, 3. Individual and institutional contributions of participation in EU education projects, 4. Reporting, dissemination and presentation of EU education projects, 5. EU education projects during the Covid-19 pandemic process. According to the findings, it is concluded that private schools have experienced significant problems and solutions with both internal and external elements during the application and execution processes. In addition, participation in EU education projects makes significant contributions to the both individuals and institutions. It is also anticipated that there may be some transformations about participating of EU education projects and that online-based and hybrid models may become popular during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
