Özet
The aim of the present study is testing the mediation role of dispositional hope and life satisfactionin the relationship between loneliness and life engagement with serial mediation model. Therelational survey method was used in the study. Data were collected from 226 college students.Research data were collected with Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale for Adults-Short Form,Dispositional Hope Scale, Life Engagement Scale, and Satisfaction with Life Scale. The data wereanalyzed by correlation and regression analysis. Regression analysis made before the mediationanalysis, showed that loneliness significantly predicted life engagement. The serial mediationanalysis showed that the mediation role of dispositional hope and life satisfaction decreased thepredictive level of the loneliness on life engagement.
