Dede Korkut Kitabı'nın Günbet nüshasında yer alan fiillerin birleşim değerleri

Abstract

Birleşim değeri teorisi yani Fr. valence / İng. valency, Lucien Tesnière'in Elements de Syntaxe Structurale (1953) adlı kitabında "Bağımlılık" bölümü içerisinde bulunan, merkezî düğümlere ait çekirdeklerin nicelik bakımından incelenmesini temel almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, Tesnière'in bağımlılık dil bilgisi anlayışı okuyucuya sunulmuş ve ardından Tesnière'den sonra gelişen çalışmalara değinilmişmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Günbet nüshasından ve bu nüsha üzerine yapılan çalışmalardan bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmamızı oluştururken İran coğrafyasında teşekkül eden bu nüshada bazı sentaks hususiyetleri dikkatimizi çekmiş, bu doğrultuda söz konusu sentaks yapıları da konu edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, 2018 yılında İran'da ortaya çıkan Dede Korkut Kitabı'nın Günbet nüshasında yer alan 536 fiilin (merkezî düğümün / yöneticinin) birleşim değeri sözlüğü oluşturulmuştur. Ancak eserin birleşim değeri sözlüğünü oluştururken, Tesnière'in sentaks unsurları arasındaki bağımlılık ilişkisi teorisini geliştiren G. Helbig'in kurmuş olduğu yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu yöntem sayesinde, fiillerin eserde kullanılan anlamları alt maddeler hâlinde sunulmuş ve her anlam için ayrı birleşim değeri incelemesi yapılmıştır.

Valency theory is based on a quantitative analysis of the nuclei of the central nodes which Lucien Tesnière presented in the "La Connexion / The Connection" section of his Éléments de Syntaxe Structurale (1953). Accordingly, the first part of this study presents the readers with Tesnière's dependency grammar theory as well as subsequent studies based on his model. The second part examines the Gonbad manuscript and studies on the manuscript in question. In the course of my research, certain syntactic considerations of the manuscript captured my attention, and given the Iranian origin of the text, the mentioned syntactic structures were also discussed. The third part contains a valency dictionary of 536 verbs (central node / government) appearing in the Gonbad manuscript of The Book of Dede Korkut, which was discovered in Iran in 2018. However, while creating the valency dictionary of the work in question, I drew upon the methodology established by G. Helbig, who developed the theory of dependency relationship between the syntax elements of Tesnière. Thanks to this method, I was able to present the meanings of the verbs as sub-entries and conduct a distinct valency analysis for each meaning.
