This study analyzes the effects of inventory policies on growth rate within the Yatai Seru production system through an analytical case study conducted on the Afara Agricultural Robot. The research compares the Fixed-Position Assembly Line Balancing and Yatai Seru models in terms of operational efficiency, labor utilization, and financial performance indicators. In the first stage, line balancing was carried out using the fixed-position assembly approach, and workload balance, cycle times, and efficiency were examined. An alternative production structure was then established using the Yatai Seru model, and the two systems were compared in terms of production time and labor productivity. In the second stage, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) scenarios were developed based on the product tree: (1) domestic/domestic supplier – non-stocked, (2) imported – non-stocked, (3) domestic/domestic supplier – stocked, and (4) imported – stocked. These scenarios were evaluated in terms of commercial, inventory, and financial performance metrics, and indicators such as Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), Manufacturing Cycle Time (MCT), and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) were calculated. The findings reveal that the Yatai Seru approach improves labor efficiency and production flexibility in the long term, while the domestic–stocked strategy (Scenario 3) provides the most balanced solution for growth rate and financial sustainability. Although the imported–stocked strategy (Scenario 4) offers shorter delivery times, it is found to be disadvantageous in the long run due to high financing requirements. This study presents an analytical case example evaluating the real-world performance of the Yatai Seru production system and provides a holistic analysis of the relationship between production management, inventory strategies, and financial sustainability.
