Klasik öncesi dönem Türk şiirinde astroloji

Abstract

Geleceği bilme arzusu, her insanın sahip olmayı isteyeceği türden bir güçtür. Bu arzu neticesinde insanlar etraflarındaki nesne ve hadiselerden geleceğe dair tahminler yürütmeye çalışmış ve bu uğraş sonucu fal, remil gibi kavramlar doğmuştur. Astroloji de bu geleceği, gaybı bilme arzusunun sonuçlarından biridir. Bu çalışmada, klasik Türk şiirinin veya Osmanlı şiirinin kuruluş dönemi olarak nitelendirilen 13. yüzyıldan 15. yüzyıl ortasına kadar olan klasik öncesi dönemde, önde gelen şairlerin divan ve mesnevilerinde astroloji unsurları taranmış ve bu unsurların şiirlerde nasıl işlendiği, hangi yönlerden ele alındığı araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma dört ana bölümden oluşmaktadır: felekler, gezegenler, yıldızlar ve burçlar. Temelleri Aristoteles ve Ptolemaeus'a (Batlamyus) dayanan âlem tasavvuruna göre bu bölümlerin her biri hakkında mitoloji, astronomi ve astrolojiyle alakalı bilgiler verilmiş, daha sonra bu unsurları ihtiva eden şiirler bu bilgiler ışığında edebi yönden incelenmiştir. Araştırmada 5 divan ile 10 mesnevi taranmış, tespit edilen astrolojiyle alakalı yüzlerce beyit konularına ve benzetme yönlerine göre tasnif edilmiş, ilgili başlıklarda edebiyat ve astroloji bağlamında şerh edilmiştir. Şimdiye kadar yapılan çalışmalardan farklı olarak bu çalışmada gezegen ve yıldızların mitolojik hikayelerine de yer verilmiştir. Yine gezegen ve yıldızların astrolojide neleri, kimleri, nasıl ifade ettikleri, bunların insan kaderi üzerinde nasıl tesirleri olduğu inancı da geniş olarak açıklanmış ve böylece beyitlerdeki astrolojik unsurların daha iyi anlaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Astrolojiye sorgusuz sualsiz inanan, hayatını astrolojiye göre şekillendiren milyonlarca insan olduğu gibi astrolojinin bilimsel bir tutarlılığı olmadığını savunan ve astrolojiye inanmayan da çok sayıda insan mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada astrolojinin bilim olup olmadığı, astrolojik tahmin ve yorumların tutarlı olup olmadığıyla ilgilenilmemiş ve tartışması yapılmamıştır. Bu tezde sadece astrolojinin şiire yansıması araştırılmış ve ortaya konulmuştur.

Desire to know the future is a kind of power that every human being wishes to possess. As a result of this desire, people tried to make predictions about the future from the objects and events around them, and as a result of this effort, concepts such as fortune telling were born. Astrology is one of the results of this desire to know the future, the unseen. This study consists of four main parts: skies, planets, stars and signs. According to the conception of the world, which is based on Aristotle and Ptolemaeus (Ptolemy), information about mythology, astronomy and astrology was given about each of these sections, and then the poems containing these elements were examined in the light of this information. In the research, 5 divans and 10 masnavis were scanned, hundreds of couplets related to astrology were classified according to their subjects and analogy aspects, and they were annotated in the context of literature and astrology under the relevant titles. Unlike previous studies, this study also includes mythological stories of planets and stars. Again, the belief of what, who and how planets and stars express in astrology and how they affect human destiny is also explained in detail, and thus, it is aimed to better understand the astrological elements in the couplets. This study is not concerned with whether astrology is a science or whether astrological predictions and interpretations are consistent and does not enter into this discussion. In this thesis, only the reflection of astrology on poetry has been researched and revealed.
