A rare cause of chest pain in childhood: Atrial myxoma

Abstract

Atrial myxoma is the most common benign heart tumor increasing with age in the pediatric age group. Clinical triad in the majority of patients includes systemic embolization, atrioventricular valve obstruction, systemic disease findings. Early diagnosis is very important. In this article, we report a patient who was referred to our clinic with fatigue, chest pain and palpitation and diagnosed with left atrial myxoma. © 2018, Logos Medical Publishing.
