Bir Devlet Hastanesindeki Ameliyathane Hemşirelerinin Profesyonel Değerleri ve Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract

Amaç: Profesyonel değerler eğitim ve uygulamalara rehberlik eden standartlardır. Bütüncül bir hemşirelik bakımı sunabilmek için profesyonel değerlerin meslek üyelerine kazandırılması önemlidir. Bu çalışma ameliyathane hemşirelerinin profesyonel değerlerinin ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı tasarımda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu tanımlayıcı çalışma bir devlet hastanesinde çalışan 51 ameliyathane hemşiresi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, tanıtıcı bilgi formu ve Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Değerleri Ölçeği kullanılarak Kasım-Aralık 2019 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Veriler IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak, tanımlayıcı ve nonparametrik testler uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin profesyonel değerler ölçeği toplamında yüksek düzeyde profesyonel değere sahip olduğu (123,73±18,42); en yüksek düzeyde profesyonel değeri ise insan onuru alt boyutunda (44,73±6,55), en düşük düzeyde profesyonel değeri de güvenlik alt boyutunda (16,45±2,28) gösterdikleri belirlenmiştir. Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin profesyonel değerlerinin tanıtıcı değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı; yaş, cinsiyet, mesleki deneyim ve mesleği sevme durumuna göre anlamlı fark olduğu belirlenmiştir (p?0,05). Sonuç: Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin profesyonel değer algısının yüksek olduğu, ayrıca kadın hemşirelerin ve mesleğini sevenlerde profesyonel değer algısının daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.

Objective: Professional values are standards that guide training and practices. It is important to provide professional values to professional members in order to offer holistic nursing care. This study was carried out in descriptive design in order to determine the professional values of the operating room nurses and the influencing factors. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted with 51 operating room nurses working in a public hospital. The data of the research were collected between November-December 2019 using the introductory information form and the Nurses' Professional Values Scale. The analysis of the data was performed by using descriptive statistical and nonparametric analysis methods in SPSS 20.0 Results: Operating room nurses had a high level of professional value in the total of professional values scale (123.73 ± 18.42); it was determined that they showed the highest level of professional value in the human dignity sub-dimension (44.73 ± 6.55) and the lowest level of professional value in the security sub-dimension (16.45 ± 2.28). The professional values of operating room nurses differ according to sociodemographic variables; it was determined that there was a significant difference according to age, gender, professional experience and loving profession (p?0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that operating room nurses had a high perception of professional value, and women nurses and those who loved their profession had higher professional value perception.
