“ALİ UFKÎ, KANTEMİROĞLU VE KEVSERÎ'NİN MÜZİK YAZILARININ TÜRK MÜZİK GELENEĞİ BAĞLAMINDA UZZAL PEŞREVİ ÜZERİNDEN İNCELENMESİ” ADLI MAKALE ÜZERİNE ELEŞTİREL BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract

2014’ün ilkbaharında, Rast Müzikoloji Dergisi için kaleme almış olduğum “Ali Ufkî, Kantemiroğlu ve Kevserî'nin Müzik Yazılarının Türk Müzik Geleneği Bağlamında Uzzal Peşrevi Üzerinden İncelenmesi” adlı makalemde çalışmaya konu olan verileri, hali hazırda Klasik Türk Müziği olarak isimlendirilen müziğin seçkinlerinin (müzikle ilişkisini bu isim altında şekillendirmiş olan herkesi kastetmiyorum, bu ilişkiyi eleştirimize konu olan düşünce yapısı bakımından kuranları kastediyorum) sahiplendiği şekliyle bir gelenek kavramsallaştırmasının etkisinde kalarak değerlendirmiştim. Geçen zaman içerisinde, elde edilen verilerin üzerine sorgulamalarımı ve müzikal icramı sürdürmem, şu an farklı bir bakış açısına sahip bulunmama vesile olmuş ve böylelikle mevzu bahis olan makalem üzerine eleştirel bir değerlendirme yazmamı netice vermiştir. Ki bu bakımdan sorgulamamız, bu süreç içerisinde; tamamen Sokratik logos ya da rasyonel aklın hükümranlığının tekelinde kalmamış, bir peri bu hükümranlığı onlarla paylaşmıştır; müzik: Kavramların yanı sıra melodi ve harmoninin yani kelimesizliğin perisi müzik.

In my article, which I wrote in the spring of 2014 for the journal Rast Müzikoloji Dergisi and which was entitled as “An Inquiry on the Musical Notes of Ali Ufkî, Kantemiroğlu and Kevserî within the Context of Turkish Musical Tradition through Uzzal Peşrev”, I had evaluated the data that became the subject of the article under the effect of the conceptualization of tradition as adopted by the elites –by elites, I refer not all of those who formed their relation with music under this name, but those specific ones, who formed this relation within the context of the mentality that became the subject of our analysis-  of the form of music that is currently called as Classical Turkish Music. In the course of time, as I continued to ponder on the data I had and as I perform music, I came up with a different point of view and as a result, I wrote a critical analysis on the aforementioned article. Thus, throughout this process, our inquiry did not come under the sovereign rule of Socratic logos or ratio; together with them, a nymph shared this sovereignty: music; the nymph of melody and harmony, the melody of the absence of words, along with being the nymph of concepts.
