Impacts of Specific Big Data Capabilities on Large-Scale Group Decision-Making Characteristics

| dc.description.abstract | The future of management emphasizes sharing responsibilities and rights with all stakeholders. This study examines the relationship between technical and administrative capabilities, which are key components of big data analytics-fundamental components of big data analytics- and characteristics of large-scale group decision-making, such as preference structure and group decision rules. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research proposes a conceptual model based on dynamic capability and stakeholder theory. This model assesses the impact of big data analytics` technical capability on large-scale group decision-making, with administrative capability acting as a mediator. The data was collected from 240 professionals across various industries in Turkey that implementing big data analytics in large-scale decision-making environments. The findings reveal that there is a positive relationship between big data analytics technical capability and administrative capability. Moreover, big data analytics administrative capability enhances both the large-scale group decision-making preference structure and the group decision rules characteristics. The results also confirm that big data analytics administrative capability positively mediates the relationships between technical capability and characteristics of large-scale group decision-making preference structure and group decision rules. | |
