Jacques Derrida’nın “Differance” Söylemi ve Postmodern Sanata Yansıma Biçimleri

Abstract

“Differance”, Ferdinand de Saussure’ün dilbilimsel görüşlerini ve Batı metafiziğinin düşünsel kalıplarını yıkmaya ve geçersiz kılmaya dönük Derrida’nın stratejik bir hamlesidir. Gösterge sisteminde özgür anlamlandırma oyunu olarak tanımlanan “differance”, öznenin etkin ve özgür yorumlama şeklini temel alan bir kavramdır. Yeni bir kavrayış biçimini temsil eden “differance”ı dil ile düşünce dizgesine yerleşmiş zorunlu ilişkilerden kurtulma ve bu yöntemle merkezi akıl anlayışının düşünce üzerindeki baskısını ortadan kaldırma girişimi olarak değerlendirmek mümkündür. “Differance”ın bu yönü yeni bir özgürlük anlayışını temsil eden postmodern sanatla önemli bağlar kurmuş ve sanatçılara yeni bakış açıları sunmuştur. Bu yeni bakış açısı postmodern sanatın düşünsel ve estetik perspektifini büyük oranda belirlemiş, farklı anlatım biçimlerinin ortaya çıkmasına kaynaklık etmiştir. Postmodern sanat ile Derrida’nın differance söylemi arasındaki ilişkileri inceleyen bu makale, temel olarak bu ilişkilerin sanatsal alanda oluşturduğu etkileri yapıt-sanatçı bağlamında çözümlemeyi amaçlar.

Differance is a strategic move by Derrida that aims to subvert and override Ferdinand de Saussure's linguistic views and the intellectual patterns of Western metaphysics. "Differance" is defined as a free-meaning game in the indicator system that is a concept based on the effective and free interpretation of the subject. The concept of "differance", which represents a new form of understanding, can be considered an attempt to eliminate the mandatory relationships established in the string of thoughts with language and thus eliminate the pressure of the central understanding of reason on thought. This concept of "differance" has established meaningful connections with postmodern art that represent a new sense of freedom and offer artists new perspectives. This new perspective largely defined postmodern art's intellectual and aesthetic perspective and led to the emergence of differance forms of expression. This article that examines the relations between Postmodern art and Derrida's discourse of differance aims to decipher the effects of these relations in the artistic field in the context of the work-artist.
