Eğitimde Alternatif Bir Model: Eğitim Kooperatifleri ve Kooperatif Okullar

Abstract

Neoliberal politikaların ve küreselleşmenin etkisiyle eğitim hizmetlerinin yalnızca kamu değil, özel sektör kaynakları ile de desteklenmesi fikri ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu durum özel öğretim kurumlarının niceliksel olarak artış göstermesine ve bireylerin talepleri ve imkanları doğrultusunda eğitim süreçlerini bu kurumlarda da devam ettirmesini sağlamıştır. Burada karşımıza özel sektör teşebbüsleri ile kurulmuş zincir okullar veya bireysel okulların yanı sıra farklı bir yapılanmaya sahip olan eğitim kooperatifleri ve bu kooperatifler tarafından kurulmuş özel öğretim kurumları da çıkmaktadır. Çalışmada kooperatifçilik, eğitim kooperatifçiliği ve kooperatif okul modelinin gelişimi, kooperatif okul modelinin dünyadaki ve ülkemizdeki mevcut durumu açıklanmıştır.

With the effect of neoliberal policies and globalization, the idea of supporting education services not only with public but also with private sector resources has emerged. This situation has enabled private education institutions to increase quantitatively and to continue their education processes in these institutions in line with the demands and opportunities of individuals. Here, we encounter chain schools or individual schools established by private sector enterprises, as well as educational cooperatives with a different structure and private education institutions established by these cooperatives. In the study, the development of cooperatives, education cooperatives and cooperative school model, the current situation of the cooperative school model in the world and in our country are explained.
