Bir Esere Bakmak ve Görmek: Müze ve Yavaş Sanat Deneyimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amaçlarından biri modern kent hayatının dayattığı hız odaklı yaşam tarzlarına tepki olarak ortaya çıkan yavaş yaşam hareketinin bir boyutu olan yavaş sanat hareketinin kuramsal temellerini sosyolojik bakış açısıyla ele almaktır. Bir diğer amacı ise müze ortamında sanata yavaş bakış uygulamasının süreçlerini ele alırken yavaş sanat hareketinin modern kentsel yaşamın dayattığı yaşam stilleriyle, modernitenin bir sonucu olarak yitirilen uzam- zaman bağlamında mekân algısının müze ve sanat galerilerini gezenlere yansımasına ilişkin gözlemleri yorumlamaktır. Araştırmacı bu çalışmada müzede yapılan sanata yavaş bakış etkinliğine katılarak tam katılımlı gözlem yoluyla süreci ve katılımcıları gözlemlemiştir. Bu çalışmanın deseni nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden tam katılımlı eylem araştırmasıdır. Veriler katılımlı yapılandırılmamış gözlem yoluyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma sırasında tutulan notlar yorumlayıcı metin analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi’nin Müzede Anda atölyesi deneyimini süreç, mekân, katılımcılar, sanatla etkileşim yönleriyle yavaş sanat perspektifinden gözlemlenmesiyle elde edilmiştir. Araştırmacı yöntem kısmında müze mekanı, katılımcılar ve katılım yöntemi ile eserler hakkında bilgi vermiştir.

One of the aims of this study is to deal with the theoretical foundations of the slow art movement, which is a dimension of the slow life movement that emerged as a reaction to the speed-oriented lifestyles imposed by modern urban life, from a sociological perspective. Another aim is to interpret the observations of the slow art movement on the reflection of the perception of space in the context of space-time lost as a result of modernity to the visitors of museums and art galleries while dealing with the processes of the slow art movement and the lifestyles imposed by modern urban life. In this study, the researcher participated in the slow look at art activity held in the museum and observed the process and participants through fully attended observation. The design of this study is a fully participatory action research from qualitative research method designs. Data were collected through participatory, unstructured observation. The notes kept during the research were evaluated by interpretive text analysis. It was obtained by observing the experience of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum's Anda in the Museum workshop from a slow art perspective in terms of process, space, participants, and interaction with art. In the method section, the researcher gave information about the museum space, the participants and the participation method and the works.
