Aile ve mülkiyet antik yunan ve islâm felsefesinde ev yönetimi ve ekonomisi

Abstract

Bu tezde İslâm felsefesi çalışmalarında pratik felsefenin ihmal edilen kısmı olan ev yönetimini (tedbîrü'l-menzil) Yunan ve Roma kaynaklarıyla mukayeseli bir şekilde ele alarak birey ve toplum arasındaki çok yönlü işlevlerini tahlil etmeyi amaçladık. Ev yönetiminin kaynaklarını, mahiyetini ve problemlerini tahlil etmeye gayret ettik. Ev yönetimine kaynaklık eden Antik Yunan'daki "oikonomia"yı tarihsel bir arka plan olarak sunduk. Roma ve İslâm felsefesinde tevarüs edilen yönlerinin nasıl alımlandığını temel kaynaklar üzerinden gösterildi. Tezde bir pratik felsefe disiplini olarak ev yönetimi literatürü etrafında geliştirilen ana yaklaşımlar, problemler ve modellemeler ortaya konuldu. Ayrıca insanın temel gereksinimleri ve ihtiyaçların yönetimi etrafında şekillenen ev yönetiminin iktisadî çehresini oluşturan meslekler, para ve ekonomik uğraşlar bahisleri etraflıca kritik edildi. Çalışmada Meşşâî felsefe çizgisi bağlamında pratik felsefenin ahlâk, ev yönetimi ve siyaset şeklindeki üçlü tasnifi arasındaki güçlü bağ korunarak değerlendirmelerde bulunuldu. Bunun yanı sıra tedbîrü'l- menzil anlayışının fıkıh, tasavvuf, ahlâk, siyaset gibi alanlarla olan ilişkisine yeri geldikçe değinilerek farklı perspektiflerin varlığına işaret edildi.

In this thesis, we aimed to analyze the multifaceted functions between the individual and society by examining household management an often neglected aspect of practical philosophy in Islamic thought through a comparative approach with Greek and Roman sources. We endeavored to analyze the origins, nature, and some sub-problems of household management (tadbīr al-manzil). We provided the Ancient Greek concept of oikonomia as the historical backdrop for the idea of household management. In this context, we examined based on primary texts how its inherited aspects were received and interpreted within Roman and Islamic philosophy. The thesis outlines the main approaches, problems, and models developed within the literature on household management as a discipline of practical philosophy. Additionally, it critically discusses the economic dimension of household management, which is shaped around human basic needs and their regulation, focusing on professions, money, and economic activities. In the study, we maintained the strong connection within the Peripatetic philosophical framework between the tripartite classification of practical philosophy ethics, household management, and politics. Moreover, references were made where appropriate to the relationships of the concept of tadbīr al-manzil with other fields such as Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Sufism (tasawwuf), ethics, and politics, thus indicating the presence of diverse perspectives.
