Juxtafoveolar telangiectasis (JFT), although described as 'telangiectasia' are a heterogeneous group of disorder mainly consisting of 3 subgroups which differ from each other by clinical aspects. Classification studies have shown that only type 1 JFT group presents true telangiectatic changes, while type 2 JFT is presenting foveal atrophy and choroidal neovascularization. The clinical presentation of type 3 JFT is capillary occlusion and macular ischemia. The clinical and imaging findings are different among the three subtypes, therefore treatment strategies are addressed differently, too. In this study we aimed to evaluate new classifications and therapeutic approaches in JFT patients.
