II.Meşrutiyet dönemi Osmanlı basınında badın dergileri: demet ve kadın (inceleme ve metin)

Abstract

Modernleşmenin bir getirisi olarak Tanzimat Döneminde ortaya çıkmaya başlayan kadın dergileri, kadının görünür olmasını sağlamış ve kadın meselesini gündeme getirmiştir. Özellikle II. Meşrutiyet'in getirdiği özgürlük ortamında canlanan yayın faaliyetlerinin kadın dergilerine de yansıması ile birlikte, kadın tartışmaları daha geniş bir alana yayılma imkânı bulmuştur. Bu dönemde erkekler veya bizzat kadınlar tarafından yayımlanan pek çok dergi bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi Osmanlı basınında yer alan Demet ve Kadın dergilerinin ayrıntılı incelemelerini içermektedir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde, Demet ve Kadın dergilerinin ortaya çıkış süreçlerini anlamlandırabilmek amacıyla Osmanlı basınının tarihi, basında kadın dergilerinin konumu, dönemin siyasi çerçevesi ve fikir hareketleri ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde; Demet ve Kadın'ın kimlik ve şekil bilgileri ile muhtevaları, yayın politikaları ve yazar kadroları genel hatlarıyla tanıtılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, dergilerde yer alan metinler detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek özetlenmiş ve kadın konusunu merkeze alan yazılar kadın meselesi bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, dergilerde yer alan yazıların konularına ve yazarlarına göre fihristleri çıkarılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde, edebî yazılardan seçme metinlere yer verilmiştir. Sonuçta, söz konusu dergilerin kadına bakış açıları konusunda elde edilen tespitler değerlendirilmiştir.

As a consequence of modernization women magazines that appeared during the Tanzimat Period enabled women to be visible or in other words to be seen and raised the issue of woman. With publication activities revived in the free thinking environment during especially the Second Constitutional Period, such liberating ideas were reflected in women magazines and it became possible for the debates revolving the issue of woman to become more widespread. During this period, a lot of magazines which were either published by men or women were available. This study consists of in depth analysis of the woman magazines called Demet and Kadın, published in the Second Constitutinal Period in Ottoman press. In the first part of this study the topics such as history of Ottoman press, the place of women magazines in the press, the political atmosphere of that time period and thinking movements were discussed with the purpose of explaining the emergence of the woman magazines Demet and Kadın more meaningfully. In the second part of the study, along with the identity and layout of the magazines Demet and Kadın, their content, their publishing policies and the list of the writers were outlined. In the third part of the study, the texts published in the magazines were analyzed in detail and summerized and the articles revolving around the issue of woman were evaluated within the context of issue of woman. In the fourth part, the texts published in the magazines were categorized depending on the topics and the writers. The fifth part consists of selected literary texts. Finally, the conclusions drawn from how theese magazines viewed women were evaluated.
