Kâtip ʿAlāʾuddîn Yūsuf'un Zübde Mine'l-Hisāb adlı eseri (Giriş – inceleme – metin – Türkiye Türkçesine aktarım – terim sözlüğü – dizin – tıpkıbasım)

Abstract

16. yüzyıl; sınırları üç kıtaya birden yayılarak imparatorluk hâline gelmiş olan Osmanlı Devletinde matematik bilimindeki gelişmelerin üst seviyede olduğu verimli ve parlak bir dönemdir. Özgün ve çeviri eser yazımının zirvede olduğu bu dönemde telif ve tercüme edilmiş muhasebe metinlerinin sayısı da oldukça fazladır. Divan kâtipleri tarafından devlet muhasebe sisteminde matematiksel konuların ele alındığı eserler kaleme alınmış veya İslam dünyasının seçkin matematik eserlerinden ilham alınarak çeviri yapılmıştır. Bu eserler Türkçenin matematik dilindeki gelişmeleri görebilmemiz açısından son derece dikkate değerdir. Kâtip ?Al??uddín Y?suf'un Zübde mine'l-?is?b adlı eseri de muhasebe konusunda temel işlem ve problemlere yer verilen, dönemin muhasebe matematiğinin işlenişine ışık tutan, özgün matematik terimlerinin bulunduğu önemli bir dil yadigârıdır. Bu tez çalışmasının ana amacı söz konusu eserin gün yüzüne çıkmasını sağlayarak eserdeki dili incelemek, matematik terimlerini tespit ederek bilim tarihi terminolojisine ve matematik konulu tarihî metin çalışmalarına Türk dili alanyazını perspektifinden katkı sunabilmektir. Böylece eserin tarihî metin çalışmaları ve dil araştırmaları başta olmak üzere bilim tarihi ve terminolojisi, matematik eğitimi ve matematik tarihi gibi alanlar için önemli bir kaynak konumunda olacağı umulur.

16th century; it is a productive and bright period in which the developments in the science of mathematics were at a high level in the Ottoman State, which became an empire whose borders spread over three continents. During this period, when the writing of original and translated works was at its peak, the number of copyrighted and translated accounting texts is also quite high. Works dealing with mathematical issues in the state accounting system were written by the court clerks or translated after being inspired by the distinguished mathematical works of the Islamic world. These works are extremely remarkable in that we can see the developments in the mathematical language of Turkish. Clerk ?Al??uddín Y?suf's work Zübde mine'l-?is?b is an important language commemorative that sheds light on the processing of accounting mathematics of the period by addressing basic operations and problems in accounting and includes original mathematical terms. The main purpose of this thesis study is to examine the language in the work by bringing the work to light, to be able to contribute to the history of science terminology and historical text studies on mathematics from the perspective of Turkish language literature by identifying mathematical terms. Thus, it is hoped that the work will be an important resource for fields such as history of science and terminology, mathematics education and history of mathematics, especially historical text studies and language studies.
