Gedizli Azmi'nin Kitab-ı Hiyel'i ve Jung'un hilebaz arketipi üzerinden incelenmesi (inceleme-metin-diliçi çeviri)

Abstract

Bu tez ile 16. yüzyıl şair ve yazarlarından Gedizli Azmî'nin manzum mensur karışık bir hikâye mecmuası olan Kitâb-ı Hiyel'inin transkripsiyonlu metninin hazırlanması, günümüz Türkçesine çevrilerek bilim dünyasına ve günümüz okuyucusuna tanıtılması; dil, üslup ve muhtevasına yönelik yapılacak incelemelerle eserin anlaşılır kılınması; akabinde Carl Gustav Jung'un hilebaz arketipi üzerinden incelenerek disiplinler arası bir çalışma ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Kitâb-ı Hiyel "hile" temalı bir hikâye mecmuası olması, III. Murad ve Kara Üveys Çelebi gibi devlet büyüklerine sunulmak amacıyla yazılması, nasihatnâme özellikleri taşıması, muhtevasının çeşitliliği dolayısıyla disiplinler arası okumalara uygun olması sebeplerinden ötürü önem arz etmektedir. İskendernâme, letaifnâme gibi farklı türlerden derleme hikâyeleri barındıran, bunun yanı sıra bünyesinde tercüme ve telif hikâyelere de yer veren eserin bilinen iki nüshası sırasıyla, Topkapı Sarayı Kütüphanesi H. 1279 ve British Library Or. 7836'de kayıtlıdır. Dört bölümden oluşan tez; çalışmanın amacı, yöntemi ve kaynakları hakkında bilgilerin verildiği bir giriş bölümü ile başlamaktadır. Bu giriş bölümünün ardından gelen birinci bölümde eserin müellifi Gedizli Azmî ile ilgili biyografi kısmı, yazarın eserleri, Kitâb-ı Hiyel'in kaynakları, muhtevası ve türü, şekilsel özellikleri ve kısa bir özeti yer alır. İkinci bölümde Jung'un arketip teorisi; benlik, ego, persona, gölge, anima/animus, bireyleşme/bütünleşme, kolektif bilinçdışı gibi terimler üzerinden ortaya konmuş, bu teorinin edebiyatla ilişkisi ve bir gölge arketip olan hilebaz üzerine kapsamlı bir açıklama getirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Kitâb-ı Hiyel'de yer alan ve hilebaz kral, hilebaz büyücü temsilcileri olan karakterler üzerinden Kitâb-ı Hiyel'de Hilebaz'ın Arketipik İmgeleri ve İşlevleri ortaya konmuştur. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde eserin nüsha tavsifi yapılarak, metnin hazırlanışında izlenilen yol belirtilmiş; eser transkribe edilmiş ve aynı zamanda günümüz Türkçesine aktarılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde Kitâb-ı Hiyel hakkında varılan sonuçlar ve tespitler ortaya konulmuştur.

The aim of this thesis is to bring to light a prose and verse mixed 16th century story collection called Kitâb-ı Hiyel by Gedizli Azmî who is both a poet and prose-writer. In this study, based on the two manuscripts of the work one registered in Topkapı Sarayı Kütüphanesi H. 1279 and the other in British Library Or. 7836, a transcription and an intralingual translation of the text are provided with the aim of introducing it to the academic community and today's readers. And then the text is examined according to its form and context. Moreover, it is aimed to make an interdisciplinary work by analysing it through the trickster archetype by Carl Gustav Jung. Kitâb-ı Hiyel has importance because it is a story collection with the main theme trick, it is aimed to be presented to the state elders like Murad III and Kara Üveys Çelebi, it has the features of a conduct book and it is suitable for interdisciplinary readings. It contains derived stories from the works such as İskendernâme, letaifnâme. It also has translation and copyright parts. This thesis which consists of four parts starts with an introduction part which gives information about the aim, method and sources of this study. In the first chapter of the study a biography of Gedizli Azmî and information about his works are given. Afterwards a summary of the work, its thematic and structural features are given. In the second chapter, Jung's archetypal theory is put forward on terms such as self, ego, persona, shadow, anima/animus, individuation, collective unconscious. Then a comprehensive explanation has been made on the relationship between this theory and literature and trickster archetype which is also known as a shadow archetype. Subsequently, in the third part the archetypal images and functions of trickster in Kitâb-ı Hiyel have been revealed through the analysis of the characters which are representatives of the trickster king and the trickster magician in Kitâb-ı Hiyel. In the fourth chapter manuscripts used in preparing the text and the rules anticipated in the course of this study are described. Lastly, both the transcription and intralingual translation of the text are provided. In the conclusion, the outcomes and determinations about Kitâb-ı Hiyel are presented.
